Here's our latest on Barranquitas:
A final assessment of Barranquitas has been conducted 25 Nov 2017, an interval of 25 days since initial assessment.
Medical services are available. Water, schools, communications, power, roads and food supply have some functionality. We give this an overall assessment as Behind Plan. With a confidence assessment of medium-high based on the amount of data we were able to gather in the municipality. Specific details are:
Schools: 13 of 17 schools are open (initial assessment, zero were open, so this is a significant change).
FCC cell sites: 9 of 18 sites are still out (50%). This is an improvement of 5 sites since initial assessment.
Power: Bo. Quebradas has partial power, according to the AEE map; also part of Carre 156 in El Pueblo. This is an improvement since final assessment (no part of Barranquitas had power). However, numerous communities are still without power, 24 Nov.
Food and Water: Partial connection of the water supply was made in Barranquitas 12 Nov, but numerous communities are still without water, 24 Nov. The National Guard and charity groups continue to distribute food and potable water in Barranquitas, as at 24 Nov.
Roads: Some residents are isolated by road blockages and need direct assistance from the military, including helicopters. Numerous communities are still affected by mudslides and debris, 24 Nov.
